Custom-Engraved and Gold-Inlaid Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver with Associated Case and Accessories

Serial no. 255040, .31 caliber, 6-inch octagonal barrel. Custom floral scroll-engraved overall. Gold-inlaid line borders and banding on lug, frame, hammer and cylinder. Blued finished, Scroll-engraved brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly with rocker-engraved borders. Varnished walnut grips. Contained in associated, non-factory partitioned mahogany case with flask; two-cavity brass mold; cap tin and shot. Key present.

Condition: Excellent as refinished and reconfigured. Retaining 98-100% reblued finish. Brass elements polished bright. Grips retaining approximately 85-90% finish with wear to relief edges. Action good. Case and accessories good to excellent.
